The first thing you need to do is modify the micro-spy camera. You can do this by removing all the wire inside the single cable. You should end up with 4 small wires – video, audio, power and ground. Cut the wires about 3 inches from the camera since you’ll extend the wire for added length and discretion. Solder the wires together with a black 24-gauge, or smaller, wire for color uniformity. Add some shrinking tubing to protect all the wire prior to soldering the other end of the lengthy black wire to the original wire connections.
Position the spy camera into the sunglasses where it is unlikely to be seen. You can use hot glue to secure the camera in place. Run the length of the wire on the sunglasses arms to make the camera even more discreet.
