Webcam Super SpyScope

Do you have an old webcam lying around? Instead of just shoving it somewhere in your drawer, why not transform it into a spy gadget? Maybe perhaps a spyscope of some sort?
The very first thing you need to do is take apart your webcam. It isn’t really hard even if there are a few hidden screws you have to find and loosen. Once the webcam’s case is removed, all you have left should be the main board and the lens. Remove the decorative lens cover as you won’t be needing that either.
To increase you webcam’s telescopic view, you will have to install a rifle scope. In order to mount the rifle scope unto the webcam, use a small piece of PVC that’s more or less the same size of the rifle scope. Secure the PVC firmly by using some hot glue. You also need to obtain a rubber cap with hose clamp as this will serve as the mount for the webcam. Drill a hole through the rubber cap and insert the webcam through. Once you’ve done that, replace the rubber cap unto the rifle scope and secure it by tightening the hose clamp.
Don’t forget to power your webcam via your laptop’s USB port to ensure that it is up and running before you actually use it.
